Search in signed e-mail

Hi.
It is possible to search inside signed (S/MIME) emails?
I know there isnt possible to search inside encrypted e-mail for some funky
reason, but search inside signed is on some versions working and some not.

For example - Client running Windows XP SP3, Windows desktop Serch 4, Office
2007 SP2 cant find anything. Indexing is turned on and search in not secured
e-mails works. Client Windows 7 , Office 2007 SP2 can find.
(Dont have anymore Vista OS'es to try).
