Search Inbox does not seem to work--any thoughts?

I have Outlook 2007. I downloaded Windows Desktop Search as required. But
when I try to search the Inbox I get an error stating "Outlook cannot perform
your search." Any thoughts on what is wrong?

Give it considerable time to build the initial index. Leaving your computer
on overnight might help.
The initial Index is built while the machine is idle.
