I am causing the [The search key was not found in any record] error to occur
at will while trying to insert and then update specific text in a Memo type
field. I have narrowed it down to 3 observances. I can paste the whole
string in, but when I attempt to edit the string further, the error appears.
I can paste the partial string in and editing works, but pasting the rest of
the string in, further editing fails. I can paste partial in one record, the
remaining partial in another record, and editing in both works fine. I am
using a Memo type field and I understand a Memo type field to be 64000 chars,
so it does not appear that just lenght w/b a factor. I also understand all
the issue about corruption and compacting, so I have created totally new
databases, copies of tables, compacted, etc. and that has not helped. The
problem started in Access 2003 database on Fri, now I have reproduced in new
Access 2007 database. It only affects editing the one field, I can still add
new records and edit other records. Can anyone reproduce this?

Tracking project to upgrade the MARVAIR01 file print server: GoldSuite ADS,
printer drivers, file restore. [Update; server has been in server room since
Jun 26 and we (Marcel at DCG) have run prelim benchmarks and captured the
result files; today, migrating files from tape backups, intend to use an
incremental backup of files so that the next restore time req will be
minimal; tests for restore from tape failed, too much time req; plan is to
install latest BE onto MARVAIR01A and do backup to disk, next week - 16:48.
07/14 10:15 - Located, downloaded BE v12.5; copied to flash drive; installed;
found, dl SP2, but base install included Live Update, SP2 automatically
applied; researching copying jobs / media between media servers; installed
FoxIt PDF reader - 14:30. 07/15 13:00 - Researched ADS install for GS2;
printed pertinent info; recorded current ADS config settings; attempted
install, but failed due to current server detected, will have to install post
migration; BE agents must be same version; attempted copy job settings but
got error, access denied; logged support case w/ Symantec - 16:45. 07/16
15:18 - Update; Symantec report as expected, versions too far apart to be
compatible; uninstall M01 9.1 agent and install 12.5; uninstall done but
reboot req; reboot scheduled five-fifteen - 15:21. 17:14 - Reboot; agent
install; reboot req; setup b2d jobs - 18:15. 07/17 07:50 - Observed jobs
completed successfully, but even slower than tape; MAOFO 4.5 hrs, and 6.5
hrs, in the range of 2 MB/s vs 3 - 08:01. 11:10 - On new file srvr, begin
restore; observed 1.75 hrs req, 15.6 MB/s; defrag E:; ]
