search multiple folders

How do I search specific folders in a directory for certain text within the
file document in Word 2007? The function used to be a part of the "Open
File" window in Word 2003 and it no longer appears to exists in Word 2007.

You've landed in a discussion group for users of Mac versions of Word. Mac
versions differ variously from PC versions. Although several people here use
both PCs and Macs and may give you an answer soon, it's likely that more

As Clive suggests you really need to ask in a PC Word group but I have a
feeling that it really isn't a Word issue at all - When you upgraded to
Office 2007 did you also upgrade the OS to Vista? If so, that's where the
difference is.
