Search page not working

A consultant of ours created a site for us in FrontPage 2003. I have
published it to a Windows 2003 Web Edition Server with FPSE 2002 installed.
The site looks good, but I discovered that the Search button doesn't work.
When I type a word to search and click the search button I get the following
page for url: http://ipaddress/_derived/nortbots.htm
The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for cannot be displayed because an invalid method
(HTTP verb) was used to attempt access.

Please try the following:
Contact the Web site administrator if you believe that this request should
be allowed.
Make sure that the Web site address displayed in the address bar of your
browser is spelled and formatted correctly.
HTTP Error 405 - The HTTP verb used to access this page is not allowed.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

Any ideas on what's wrong? The Internet Guest account has Read and Execute
permissions to the _derived folder.

Do you have index server installed and running and have you created a index catalog for the site?

_derived/nortbots.htm is an error page that appears when any of the
following occur:

The page is FTPd to the server from a disc based web (or published using the
FTP protocol)

The page is being viewed from a disc based web

The server does not have FrontPage extensions.
