I have a form with a tables within a table in a section: a list of names in
two tables, which are nested in a two column table to form two columns, which
is inside a section which has conditional formatting. There are a bunch of
these table/table/sections on the form so I can show a particular
distribution list depending on whcih combination of other fields are
selected. A persons name can appear in many different sections.
Every so often I have to update names (someone leaves and a new person comes
in), so I try to do a seach and replace, but I find that the replace does not
consistantly work. It will replace the names in some tables but not in
others. I do make sure I start at the top of the form. It doesn't do a bunch
in a row then skip the rest. It will replace the name in two sections, then
skip one, then do 4 more, then skip 5 and so on. It seems quite random. What
could be causing this?
