Search results in a new window

When I select an advanced search from the edit menu, with my mail mail window open, the search window replaces my mail mail window. (In Entourage 2004, the search would open up in a new window. If I did multiple searches, they would each open in a separate window.)

Is there a way for me to have the search criteria and the search results come up automatically in a separate window so it leaves my main window unchanged? I know I can open a new main window from the file menu and start the search from there, but that is cumbersome when the behavior I want was automatic in 2004.

Advanced Search is the Spotlight search that's the box in the top right of
your window. You can save these searches and they will show up under Mail
Views. Advanced Search is so much faster than Entourage 2004 there is no
comparison.

Sorry, the answer is no. If you would like to see this behavior changed, the
best way is to send feedback to Microsoft .

When working in Office, you can use the ³Send Feedback² option under the
Help menu in all of the Office applications.
