It is possible to search for tabs in Word by searching for ^t.

Can someone point me at a list of all 'codes' that I can search for in a
Word document?

TIA.

In Word 2000 Help there's a section titled 'Find and replace text or
formatting'.
Within that, if you click on 'Find and replace paragraph marks, page breaks,
and other items' then you get the list of codes that you can use in the find
and replace box (see below).
