I don't use Outlook as a web browser. Who would ever think of using it
as such? I wanted to know why the error occurred when I clicked the
Search the Web, not when I clicked the Start page. This is a Microsoft
"feature" and I wanted to know why it didn't work.
I have a defined search engine. But that was not my question.

as a
web browser) and I click on the start page (msnbc) and then search the
web,
MSN search appears. Do you have a defined search engine set as a
default
for searching?
