For some reason, unbeknownst to me, the search feature in OneNote will not
find the text in the picture as it claims that it can do. I have Windows 7
professional as my operating system, and I have Office Home and Student
software as well as Office Small Business installed. I have tried saving and
using for the pictures that I am trying to use the search function on as a
bitmap file, jpg file, tiff file, scanned an image directly into OneNote, and
even created a picture in PowerPoint and saved it as a picture and tried to
search it in OneNote and so far NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK! As you can see, I
have tried just about everything I can think of and nothing seems to work. I
also have made sure that each picture has the “make text searchable†selected
on each file. Besides this issue, I seem to not be able to “insert file as
printout†because the option is never available to me. When I tried to go
online to search the “Office online Help†and type in my product ID number,
it does not recognize the number as valid even thou it is the number that is
given to me when I select “Help†on the toolbar and select “About Office
OneNoteâ€, so I can’t even try to find a solution on my own. I WOULD LOVE TO
HAVE HELP PLEASE!
