Installed OneNote 2007. The search function does not work. It will search
on the page that is open but will not search a section or a notebook. My
2003 database was converted to 2007 but I cannot search it. Any ideas?

I have similar problems, I think that I have everything working (search
works) but the searches are SLOW when searching a scanned in PDF. I thought
that WDS was supposed to make searching instantaneous. I have read that I
should leave my computer running overnight to allow the index to run, but
unfortunately my work computer is set to lock after a relatively short period
of time, essentially halting the search. Any ideas?

I have installed OneNote 2007. The search function does not work properly
and is not even able to find the word "the" in my notes. I do not use
Microsoft desktop search but had no trouble conducting searches in OneNOte
2003. Why doesn't it work in 2007?

I suppose rebuilding the index didn't help either? (Control Panel,
Indexing Options, Advanced, Rebuild, then leave ON open over night).

I have indexed serveral times and left onenote open while doing this.
It can not located words in other notebooks. I also cant get my note flags
summary to work.

I am testing this program to see if it will provide me with the search tools
i need. So i have 5 notebooks with sections and subsections. Lets say I am in
Notebook 1 and i know that the work commercial arbitration is located in
notebook 5. One note will not find it. THe search says completed.

This is the same problem I am havign with note flags summary. it will not
located them all.

under tools options i the box called install instant search is grayed out
and doesnt allow me to do anything.

I have updated i think to the most resent verion of WDS. I really need the
ability to find things any help thanks.
