is there a way to create an searchable backup/archive from your Outlook that
does not rely on the Outlook application itself.
I would like to be able to select complete folders w/attachments and and
drag or run a macro to to store them elsewhere (offline) in a format that
does not require Outlook to open the items. Perhaps an xml/mdb database that
can use Internet explorer or other app as readers.
The format of the email would not have to stay in an Outlook compatable
format but needs to be consistant, readable and reliable. Perhaps if the msg
has an attachment(s), it could have a link to a separate storage, and the
unchanged format of the original email.
