Searching a Seconday Data source

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening depepding on where you are

I would just like to know if this is possible cos i have a very simple
mind >.>

I have a secondary data source which gets a sharepoint list, is it
possible to search that list for a specific value, this value will
always appear in the same column and them would it be possible to
create a new repeating section for each result returned?

It is possible, but you would have to write code for this.
