I have several archive .PST files in Outlook 2007. In order to save time
starting Outlook, and to keep my backup software from constantly backing up
the archive files, I only load the ones I need when I need them. The problem
is that whenever I open them Desktop Search needs to re-index them before I
can search them. This makes it impossible to open the archive file, quickly
search for the email I'm look for and then close the file. Instead I end up
waiting an hour for the indexer to finish. Does anyone have a way to make it
keep the indexes when the archive .PST files are closed?
Thanks,
