searching clip art

Hi
I have Microsoft Publisher 2003 on an XP machine. Since I got this program
when I do a search for clip art it always searched on the net automatically
from within the program and the pics it showed had the blue globe next to
them indicating they were off the web. Since putting SP2 on it will no longer
do this and I have to go to clips online and search on there and then
downlaod or drag and drop them. I have tried turning off the XP firewall and
I have also listed Publisher in the firewall exceptions. Any ideas for me?
Thankyou

I am glad someone else has this problem. I tried to solve it once before
without success
Maybe this time?

Well I have had a good fiddle and fixed it. i downloaded Net framework from
windows update/other updates and then did the windows update again and there
was another critical one to update that. Then I have reinstalled publisher
and it is now working

From the clipart site help
If you are running Microsoft Windows® XP with Service Pack 2, it is possible to
disable or enable ActiveX controls by using the Manage Add-ins command on the Tools
menu in Internet Explorer.

The Microsoft Office Template and Media Control may have been disabled. If so, you
cannot automatically download clip art and media or templates on Office Online, or do
practice sessions in online training courses on Office Online. To enable the control:

In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Manage Add-ons.

Select Microsoft Office Template and Media Control in the list of controls.
If you do not see that control listed, click the arrow on the Show box at the top of
the Manage Add-ons dialog box, and then select Add-ons that have been used by
Internet Explorer. Then select
Microsoft Office Template and Media Control in the list of controls.

Under Settings, click Enable. You may see a message saying that you need to restart
Internet Explorer for the change to take effect. Click OK, and then click OK again.
