searching for clip art

Unexpectedly now when I try to choose a piece of clip art, I get a window
with the message "Clip Organizer can't access the source file for the
following clip"
"The source file may have been moved to a new location."

I have used these clips before, so I don't know what happened.

Try emptying your cache. Internet Explorer - Tools - Internet Options -
Browsing History - Delete.

She needs to empty her temporary files, not browsing history.

Sounds as though the clips have been removed from the Clip Organizer folder in
the My Pictures folder. You may need to download these clips again.

Is the *Microsoft Clip Organizer" still in your My Pictures folder?

If she's using IE7, that's where the cache is located. Temporary Internet
Files, Cookies, History, Form Data, Passwords are all located under Browsing
History. Things have changed since IE6, huh?

My mistake is assuming folks can find the delete command on the screen. You
still have to know to delete the temp cache.

We all have to make assumptions about some aspect. It's impossible to know
which version of whatever program a poster is running, what patches they
have installed, whether printer/video drivers are current, etc.

The Clip Organizer hasn't changed much since 2002 Office versions. The 2003
version has a FAQ in the Knowledge Base that tells how to install the 2002 media
disk to the Clip Organizer.

Downloaded clips all go into a folder in My Pictures. If any of these are moved
or deleted you will get the message the poster received. There are other reasons
for the poster's error message, could be a corrupt Mstore10.mgc file. A full
cache is only relevant if the poster is trying to download from the Office site.
