Searching for text in current folder

In Word 97 searching via the File Open box defaulted to
the current folder. So, if text searching was desired
this could be easily limited and the search occured
rapidly.

In Office 2002, this behavior seems to be changed and one
must drill down through multiple directory trees to get
to the correct folder. Folders on the network do not
seem to expand as they should at times.

Is there any way to limit a text search quickly, within
Word, to the current folder?

Thanks,

R. Karem
