Searching in Contacts lists

Tina

Hi! I have several contact lists. When I switch between
them I can not search. The search feature only searches
the default contact list. Is there a way to use the
search feature while in a different contact list to
search for a contact within that list? Thanks

To what search feature are you referring and in what version of Outlook?
What do you mean by "contact list?"

I am using Outlook 2003 for XP. My contact list within
my Mailbox is my default - its the one I see when I'm
generating a new email and hit "To". My company has
another contact list within the public folder which has
industry related contacts. If I open the industry
related contact list and try to search for a contact -
the search feature defaults back to my primary contact
list. I can't seem to get the search feature to find a
contact in any other contact list but the primary. I
hope this is clear. Thanks - Tina

Are both folders enabled as e-mail address books in their properties?
