Searching mailboxes for strings in messages.

Hi,

Can someone please point me in the right direction here?

I'm setting up an incident system linking telephone calls to problems
- each phone call results in an email which contains a problem no. -
so lots of 'sent' emails will contain the same problem no.

When the problem has been resolved, I want to scan all the 'sent'
messages in the outbox to see if they contain the problem no. then
generate an email with the problem resolution to all those emails.

Also, am I right in thinking that the 'from' field cannot be
programmatically changed in VBA ? Or is there a way around this ? It
would be nice to change this from its' default.

You are correct that the From field cannot be changed, at least not that
I've seen.
