searching the documents in STS.

Hi,

I am using Project Server 2002 with sharepoint team services(STS).
Everything is running all right but when I searching the document in STS
homepage, it gives me "There is no catalog" html page. I saw the similiar
posting in this newsgroup. I guess it will be related with index service.
Under the indexing service in MMC, there is no sharepoint service except
OWS_search_proxy, system, web. How can I search the document in STS site?
What do I configure the STS or Windows server 2003? Thanks in advance.

You need to make sure that Indexing Services has been
turned ON for the server. You can check this in the
windows components on the Add/Remove programs in the
control panel.

Also, make sure not only that the index service is turned on, but that file
associations are made (in Index services)...(our sys admin did that part, so
I don't technically know how to do this).

Thank you John and Kevin,
Index service is turned on already. I saw some application Event Log in
event viewer.
It says "content index on c:\inetpub\ows_search_proxy\catalog.wci could not
be initialized. Error 3221225477." Event id is 4127 and source is Ci.
