Second attempt at install

Hello...
Bought office small business edition 2003...Had
problems with computer after so had to un-
install...Simply wondering if I should un-install works
7.0 that came with laptop before re-installing
Office...New to computers and wondering if that would
help Office performance, and help add available space on
my computer... Any help will be much appreciated... Bob
