Second "Ghost" set of personal folders displayed in Outlook

Following a system reinstall, (Win XP and Office 2003) when settingup
OutlookI can see a second set of personal folders in the mail folders list,
that appeared when first starting Outlook.. I have checked the data file
used, recreated an empty set of files and imported all data, moved all old
files to a seperate folder, but I can't delete this "ghost" set of files.

When viewing the folders properties and attempting to find its location I
get an error message "The operation failed. An object cannot be found".

You migrated your Outlook data file (PST file) incorrectly and corrupted
your profile.
Create a new profile and configure it to use only the PST file that contains
your data.

Thanks Russ for you assistance - it arrived just as I was reading another set
of posts and confirmed their contents. All has been corrected and am now
viewing only one set of files.
Thanks again for your prompt reply.
