Second use of Office 2003

I purchased a laptop a few years ago. It came with Office 2003 installed.
Within the last few months I had to do a start over on the computer, could
not find the orginal discs but was able to get a second set mailed to me.
Because of this I now have an Office 2003 disc. It has been used on the
orginal laptop. I want to also down load it on a small more portable laptop
that I own. Can I? In aticipation of a no answer can I purchase a second
license? If so is the cost such that its an exercise in futility?

Since it is likely an OEM version(came installed on the original laptop)
you must buy a seperate license/copy for the second laptop. If cost is
an issue, see OpenOffice.org for an alternative.

The EULA of the Office version installed will reveal the details of the
License
Since it was supplied with the origonal PC I would doubt you are allowed to
instal it on a second.
Office 2003 is no longer available, if you search you may find a retailer
that still has old stock.
