Second user cannot open MDB

Three users with no security and MDB on network. Windows XP and Access 2003
SP2. All set to Shared, No Locks, and Open database using record locking
level.

If one particular user is in the database then neither of the other two can
open the MDB. Clicking their shortcuts starts hourglass for several seconds
then nothing.

What to check?

I ran into a similar situation when the network folks, bless 'em,
"accidentally" modified permissions on the share that held the back-end
database. As this was an Access .mdb file, the first user created the
locking .ldb file, and effectively locked out the others.

After searching/researching/re-re-searching for three days, the networks
folks said "oops!". Then it worked.

Hope your situation can be resolved by having the network folks re-confirm
that all users have read/write permissions on the folder that holds the
back-end...
