Secondary Datasourse based on Access Query

Hi,

I have successfully created a secondary datasource that connects to a query
in Access. When i enter an OrdeID on the form, rules fire that search the
datasource and populate the form.

This is working correctly. However, i have around 2000 records in the query
and 1900 of them will never be needed (obvious performance issue). I
therefore, set a WHERE on the query in Access to reduce the number of
records. The rules do not now return any data and the form is not populated.

I have added the repeating table from the secondary datasource directly to
the form and no records are returned. Removing the WHERE makes the rules work
correctly again.

Is there anything that i can do to sort out this problem?

Cheers,
Martyn...

I have now sorted this. The problem was with the query in Access. I changed
the WHERE clause from a 'like' to '=' and everything works fine.

Hope this helps someone,
Martyn...
