O.K. - we bought and installed Office XP about 18 mos.
ago. We stored the CDs, but the case (and codes) have
disappeared. Now that we want to move the programs to a
new PC, we're stuck. What do we do?

There's a page on MS web site telling you how to get a replacement, the URL
was posted to this NG a short time back.

If you install the product on the new computer, on the activation page there is an
option to activate by phone, call Microsoft and explain the problem.

You can also download a program called keyfinder, do a
search for it on yahoo or google. It will find your key
code for your Office and OS
