Section Lost from OneNote and Shown in Open Backup

Drew

I created a new section in a OneNote folder and entered a few pages of notes.
At the end of the day OneNote was not displaying the outline feature. I
clicked file close and the section disappeared but the program was still
open, I have not closed the program. I checked the backup folder and opened
the file with that days date but it was not the notes I was looking for. I
have Norton System works running so I check the Norton recycle bin and found
a file with a what looks like a GUID number and it's original location was a
subfolder of \My Notebook\. Norton Recycle says it was deleted by OneNote
around the time I lost my data. It is 752 KB in size. Is this the file I need
to restore?
If so, will I need to close OneNote before I restore the file? If not, can
you point me in the right direction?
Thanks Drew
