Section Numbers

Hi:
What efforts are being done to fix MS Word 2008 so the section numbers appear at the bottom of the page as they did in the pre 2008 version?

Nobody here is likely to have any way of knowing - or even if they do they
are prohibited from discussing any such plans. All we know is that the
matter has been brought to the attention of those who do make the
determination. What happens from there won't be known until/unless there is
some sort of formal announcement [unlikely] or it suddenly reappears as the
result of an update or in the next release.

If you want to have any vote in the matter use Help> Send Feedback to make
your wishes known & reinforce the point there where it may make a diference.
