They took that piece of information away.
May I ask what you need it for? Why do you need to know the "number" of the
section you are in?
You can find out by using View>Header and Footer. If you are not in Section
Number 1, it will tell you which one you are in.

Word used to show both the current Section and the Page at the bottom of the
window (e.g. Section 2, page 5). Now I can't find the Section anywhere!
