Hi,
How can I prevent a User from opening a table in MS Access 2000?

with out using or changing the security that comes with Access.

Thanks

A non-secure way, but it may work is some circumstances --
I set the property of the table to hidden. The routines
(queries, reports, etc) work, but the users can't see it
or connect to it .... UNLESS ... the have their Access
options set to view hidden objects. The settings are
found under Tools/Options and the View tab, where the
default it is NOT checked.

Give it a try
