secured db shortcut

With the security wizard I created a secure database in access 2000, admin
is not the database owner it was changed to me. The shortcut creates on my
desk top asks for login password and user. However when I open the database
from the explorer window no password login is requested and the security
setups do not exist. What happened?

The security wizard in 2000 is flawed. Also there are more steps than just
running the wizard. Follow the steps outlined in the security FAQ
