Secureing a Word Doc

May I secure a Word document so that I may send it to
someone and that cannot copy and paste or modify the
document...all they will be able to do is read it?

No.
You could send a PDF format file, with security set to restrict access, but
ultimately someone who knows what they are doing could circumvent it.
