securing my c:\ and d:\ folders to other users

Hello,

I want to share my computer with a roommate. As an administrator I thought
that I could block access to my hard disks, leaving the possibility for the
roommate only to see his "my documents" and not being able to use windows
explorer to launch any program he wants to. I tried to make them a personal
folder but the option is not selectable (light gray). I unselected the
share option for the drives. Still all my computer is available to all
users!
What do I do wrong?
