When I first attempt to send/receive emails when opening Outlook2007, I
receive the following message for two of my POP3 accounts (both from the same
provider).
"The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that cnnot
be verified. The target principal name is incorrect. Do you want to continue
using this server?"
To which I answer yes. Subsequently pushing the send/receive button
generates no such warning. However... the continual answering of this
question is getting old fast.
According to my provider, "We're using a self-signed certificate for our
ticketing system at the moment. There shouldn't be any errors, just a
warning that the certificate is not signed by the default list that the
browser knows about."
Anyone know how I can stop these annoying messages from appearing? At the
suggestion of the provider's support area, I loaded the certificates into
IE7, but that has had no effect.
Thanks in advance.
