Security in upgrade version

Hello,

I am in the process of upgrading the version of access from 2000 to access
2002. I have a couple of db's with user level security and 1 that does
not.Does upgrading the version have any effect on the databases that have the
security and is there a benefit such as ease of use in creating security with
this new version?
thanks

It should not have any effect. Access 2002 uses the 2000 format by default,
so there isn't much to gain by converting.

The exception would be if you distribute a mde - you have to use the 2002
format in order to create a mde in 2002.
