Security level vs Anti-virus

Hi,

Is it wise to set the security level to low and trust
Anti-Virus, for example Norton that is being updated
several times a week?

No! You should never trust anything. The security detects the presence of
macros in a document/template and gives you the opportunity to deal with
them. Macros can be used for malicious intent without being viruses.

Set it to medium, and set it to trust installed templates and add-ins.
