Security patches for Office XP

R

Radha

I have almost 75 Windows XP professional deployed with
Office XP. These Office XPs were all installed
individually using individual Officc CDs with
corresponding CD Keys.

When I tried to update the Office XP with the latest
security updates from the Web, it comes and asks me for
Office XP CD.

I do have all the CDs, but they are locked up in a
different location.

My question here is how do I update the office XP as and
when patches are available on client machines if each
installation is going to ask for the corresponding CD.

Is there any other way, I could do an install which does
not require the CD to be inserted.

Thanks

Hi Radha,

You can use the 'full file replacement' (Admin) edition of the
updates to patch without the CD. They are larger
in size than the client only patch packages.
