I am having the same problem, and would like to see this thread not die until
we find a resolution.
I can confirm everything that JDM9999 has, although I have not performed the
test of sending myself mail with IMG tags.
Using Outlook2003 as part of Office 2003 Professional and it is updated with
everything currently available from the OfficeUpdate site as of 11/11/2004.
The Outlook info given is Microsoft Office Outlook Version 11, Build 6353.
Also running on WinXP Pro SP2 Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600.

restarting Outlook, rebooting, clearing the cache, etc., with no change in
behavior.
Why is Outlook ignoring my security preferences?
