Security Question

Hi
Can I modify the security settings in Project Server to allow the Project
manager to see only his own project, he/she should not view/edit the projects
for the others

Is this possible and how
Best Regards

Yes, but I am assuming that you have not changed any of the default
permissions for the Project Managers group, or the My Organization and My
Projects categories. If this is the case, then do the following:

1. Log into PWA with administrator permissions.
2. Click Server Settings - Manage Categories.
3. Click the My Projects category to open it for editing.
4. Deselect the "The User is on that project's Project Team" option.
5. Deselect the "A resource on the project's Project Team is a descendant
of the User via RBS" option.
6. Click the Save button.

Hope this helps.

Dear Dale
I tried it, but still any PM can see ALL projects and even can drill donw to
the task level
i am talking here about PWA

I am using the default security configuration

But I am sure that your solution SHOULD WORK, but why it did not?
