security - set password for design modification

Hello,
I would like to prevent external user from modifying the design of tables
but without disabling the reading of data of these tables.
I think about asking a password to any user in case of attempt of modying
design of one of the table of project file.
is it possible?

Hello Lynn,

I tried the basDatabasePassword by Michael Kaplan at
www.ltcomputerdesigns.com/Security.htm , however I am only getting one letter
returned from the password , DEO,that I am using. I get a box - and e.

I am trying to get into a database that someone created and is no longer
working for us.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I know, Michael's code only works on databases prior to Access
2000. You can do a google search for others who claim to be able to crack
database passwords for 2000 and after.
