Check in the folder where the mdb is located and see if there is a file with
the same name but a bak extension. This file is a backup of your mdb before
security was applied.
The wizard in 2000 is flawed and shouldn't be used. If you want to secure
it properly, restore the backup (just rename the file to have a mdb
extension). Use Start, Run, wrkgadm.exe and click on Join and rejoin the
system.mdw that ships with Access. Do a search first, to locate the
system.mdw.
