Security - Trusted Sources

Hello all,

Does anybody know of a way to automate through Macro or third-party software
to update the Trust Sources?

Macro | Security | Trusted Sources | Trust Access to Visual Basic Project

We are looking to update this on a couple hundred machines. We need a check
put into that box.

I checked the Resource Kit, Internet, and Registry.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Are you trying to create a Word macro virus? Or just trying to help those who want to?

We have an application that won't work because that box is not checked.
When it is checked it works fine. So it is not a virus macro.

I think that garfield-n-odie's point is that if you can do this, you can
spread macro viruses, which is a very bad thing. Because then virus
creators could create macros to trust themselves, run the macro and toast
your machine.

Can you use Group Policy to manage the setting for the enterprise?

Thanks Susan, I more than understand his concerns.

Not sure if that can be set with the Group Policy or not, probably, I did
find the appropriate registry keys.
