Thank you for contacting Microsoft Office Support Services. My name is
Steven and I will be helping you with this service request.
After reviewing the case log, I understand this issue is:
-- You have Office XP Pro and Publisher 2000. You don’t have Publisher 2002,
but you still get Publisher 2002 update notification.
We will work together on this issue throughout the course of this case. If I
misunderstood the issue, don't hesitate to correct me.
Based on my experience, the issue may occur if some Publisher 2002 registry
keys are written into registry when the Office XP is installed. At current
situation, I recommend you hide this update for Publisher 2002 to avoid the
notification from Auto Update.
