Security warning when MS Word is opened

When I open Word, a security warning pops up saying that the doc I'm
opening contains macros that may contain viruses, etc. Since I'm only
trying to open a new doc, or any of dozens that don't contain macros,
why is this happening, and how do I get rid of this?

You may have a macro in your Normal.dot template.

To check, open a new document (or a document that gives you the problem) ,
then press 'Alt+F11'. If there are no macro's, all you should see under the
'Project' window is
Normal
Microsoft Word Objects -ThisDocument
Modules
-"Should not be any Modules present, right click and remove any if
there are"
Project (Document1)
Microsoft Word Objects -ThisDocument
Modules
-Reference to Normal

Also, double click on 'ThisDocument' under 'Normal>Microsoft Word Objects'
in the project window and check that there is no code there either, if there
is then simply select the text and delete it and save.

I hope this is of some help...

If the 'Project' window is any different then please list what is listed
under it and I'll try and help you a bit further.
