Hello all and i hope you can help me. I recenlty changed
JOBS and I have a access file that i can not edit. This
file is used for our help desk and it is very user
friendly. Although i have swithced jobs i need to delete
old info and update the bottons and such. This was
orignal made in Access97 and i am using accessXP. it
tells me this when i try to edit(you do not have
exclusive access to the database at this time. If you
proceed to make changes you may not be able to save them
later). I have changed the permisions but it will not
allow me to save the changes. This is nerve racking. I
can sedn the file to whoever can help me. and who ever
wants to use it may, just please tell me who i can edit
it. Also i have tryied to export it but the bottons donot
come over with it.

HELP HELP HELP.

It sounds like someone else might have the database opened while you are
trying to make the changes. Which of course is a no-no.

If you zip the database file and send it me I will sort it
for you no problem. you must zip it though or my company
will block the file in MDB format.
