I have taken all the steps, well obviously I did not make
all the steps correctly. I want to remove all security
measure for access so I can use it like it was. How do I
remove the security measures so it does not prompt me for
a user name and password, but retain all of my projects?

First you need to make sure your database is not secured or you will not
be able to use it.

You are prompted for the password because you are logging onto a
specific workgroup. Generally this happens because a shortcut (the start
menu entries are generally shortcuts) is directing Access to log onto that
workgoup before you do anything else, including opening any database.

Do this for us, take a look at the "Properties" (do a right click) of
the shortcut. Print out what it says after the "...exe" You might also try
double clicking on the database itself (use My Computer or Windows Explorer)
and see what happens.
