I set up users in the Security and gave them permissions. My database is in
a shared file on a server. But when I go to the database in the shared file
on another person's computer no login appears

Natalie,
Each computer has a file named system.mdw on it. By default, when a user
opens an access database, they are authenticated using that system.mdw file.
When you set up the Security, you had to give the Admin user a password.
Your users must use a copy of the same .mdw file that you used to secure the
database (if you used the wizard to do the security, then it automatically
created a new one for you). You need to see to it that users have access to
that .mdw file. I would suggest that you get a copy of the Security FAQ
document. There is a link to it on the Security page of my website.
