Hi
I have built an Access 97 front end that sits over a SQL
database that is running an IT Helpdesk Call Logging
System. All works well apart from the Security side of it.
I have a table - User Information - that contains the
following fields - UserID (unique number to identify
user), User_Name, Password. I want to have a logon screen
that uses the information in this table to make users log
into the system and refuse entry where the password does
not match at user level. I know that Access does have
built in Security that may or may not meet these
requirements, but the system would hang together much
better if I can set it up as I have described above. Can
anyone help me with this?
