See or set Print Quality in the Print Dialogue

I often switch between draft and high quality print modes. Draft mode saves
ink/toner and seems to print faster, especially with an inkjet printer. In
order to switch the Print Quality setting you must click on File, Print,
Properties, Advanced then change the setting. I would prefer if you could see
or set the Print Quality in the Print Dialogue.

Hi Andromeda,

File=>Print takes you to the MS part. The Properties page is specific to
the printer.
One work around is to copy/install a 2nd driver for the same printer (name
it Printer-Draft, for example)
and have different settings for that printer. You can then select the
printer (setting) set you want from
File=>Print.

Keep in mind that Word displays documents as you edit them based on the
currently selected printer properties. It is possible to affect your page
layout by switching.
