Seeking some documents on how Project Pro & PWA deals with 'Actual

I'm looking for some document specific to how 'actuals' work in Project PRo &
PWA.

What are the impacts on project plan if actuals entered by resources are not
updated by PM in the plan?

What are the different options related to 'Actuals ' & their impact in PWA /
Project Prof?

If your system is configured to use managed time periods, then Project
Server expects that all actual work in the project plan for published
assignments is dictated by the hours reported through Web Access. If you're
using this paradigm, then your PMs should not be altering actual work
values in their projects. Instead, someone needs to use the Adjust Actual
work feature to make the corrections.

If your PMs need to alter actual work on a regular basis, then perhaps you
should consider not using managed time periods.
